JEFFREYS BAY – Police in Jeffreys Bay are investigating a case of business robbery after three armed men targeted a retail store in Jeffreys Bay on 6 November.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, it is alleged that on 6 November at around 06:20, three armed men stormed into a Jeffreys Bay store as the staff were reporting for duty and held them at gunpoint.
“The suspects could not get access to the drop-in safe, but stole the manager’s cash and three employees’ cellphones. The suspects also stole cigarettes from the store kiosk,” said Nkohli.
“The suspects fled the scene using the manager’s vehicle, which was found abandoned in Dulcie September Street, Oceanview in Jeffreys Bay.”
Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station.
