THE Atta Victor Memorial Race will be held at Victory Raceway in Victoria Drive, Walmer, on Wednesday and Thursday, December 26 and 27.

Atta Victor, the promotor of Victory Raceway, passed away on December 2, 2016 after suffering a heart attack.

Victory Raceway is honouring his legacy in hosting a memorial race in remembrance of this motorsports legend.

Drivers from Bloemfontein, East London, Oudtshoorn and George will join the local racing fraternity.

The competing classes include pinkrods, 1660s, 2.1 modifieds, heavy metals and American saloons.

Gates open at 14:00 and racing starts at 18:00. The entry fee is R70 for adults and R20 for children under 13, while track parking is R20.
