FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The Friends of the Library outlet, The Book End, at the Newton Hall in Goede Hoop Street, Jeffreys Bay, is open from 09:00 to 12:00 every Tuesday and Friday, as well as every last Saturday of the month. Volunteers are invited to get involved by assisting for three hours a week. The Friends of the Library appeals to the community for help to take a load of old books andmagazines to the recycling plant in Deal Party, Port Elizabeth for pulping. The recycling of the old material brings in extra funds, which are used to buy new books for the Jeffreys Bay Library.
HAPPY FEET LINE DANCE
Happy Feet Line Dance classes for beginners take place at the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club from 14:00 to 15:00 on Mondays. Improver and intermediate classes take place on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The cost is R20 per class. Contact Marie Louw at 083 425 0724.
TWINKLE TOES
Ina’s Twinkle Toes Linedance classes take place as follows: absolute beginners and beginners at 43 Palm Crescent on Mondays from 09:00 to 10:00 (absolute beginners), and on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 10:00 (beginners), beginners at the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club on Fridays from 08:30 to 09:30, improver/ and high beginner at the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club on Wednesdays on Wednesdays from 09:00 to 10:00 and on Fridays from 08:30 to 09:30 (intermediate). TUMBLEWEEDS
Solo and line dancing classes for adults take place as follows: beginners at 17:30 and 18:30 on Wednesdays, and improvers and higher levels at 16:30 and 17:30 on Wednesdays. The cost is R20 per person. Line dance classes for kids 4 to 12 years take place every Thursday. The cost is R80 (little ones) and R120 (pre-teens) per month. JBAY GOLF CLUB
The Jeffreys Bay Golf Club will host their Chicken Run Golf Day from 07:00 to 15:00 every Friday. Players pay for nine holes, and get nine free. Rotisserie chicken vouchers from Woolworths are up for grabs. The green fees are R55. Contact Len from the JBay Golf Club at 042 293 2532.
BRIDGE CLUB

FOOD FAIR
SAARP, the Nifty Fifties and the communities of the Anglican, Baptists, Catholic, Hervormde, Methodist and Presbyterian churches will host a community food fair on the corner of Dolly Varden Street and Butterfly Street in C-Place from 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturday, February 1. Food, books, crafts and plants will be on sale.
