CRAZY golf, an environmental treasure hunt, racing around a golf course in a golf buggy collecting clues and executing some stylish shots . . .
The fourth annual Par 3 Amazing Race, organised by the Kromme Enviro-Trust, is set to take over the legendary world-class St Francis Links at 08:00 on Monday, December 16 – promising fun golf with a difference.
Event organiser Maggie Langlands says, “Each hole presents a different challenge – an amazing race-type task to be performed.
“It is not your average golf game, but it will test your skills to the maximum.”
And just for once players can bring the kids along.
“In fact they will give you a big advantage,” says Langlands. “There is an eco-quiz to complete and clues are hidden along the length of the course.”
The winners of the day will be the partnership which does best in both golf and eco-quiz.
Snacks will be served throughout the day and great prizes will be up for grabs.
All proceeds raised will go to the Kromme Enviro-Trust. To enter, contact the St Francis Links Pro Shop at 042 200 4500.
