DECK the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la! ‘Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la la!

St Francis Tourism – in conjunction with the Village Shopping Centre, the United Church of St Francis Bay and Village the NSRI Station 21 – is set to hold a fun-filled St Francis Christmas Festival on Monday, December 23.

Festival-goers can look forward to carols by candlelight, nativity play, Santa, market and food stalls, as well as side walk ‘sales’ by local shops.

The Nativity Play and Carols by Candlelight will take to the stage at 18:30, while Santa will hand out presents at 19:30.

Bring your own chair.

Presents can be dropped off at the Tourism Office from 08:00 to 16:00 on December 23, or at the event after 16:00.

There will also be a donation box for NSRI Station 21 at various drop off points, and flameless LED-candles will be on sale at the event.

Participating shops will have various competitions, including Take a Selfie with Elf on a Shelf, while children can look forward to a Santa photo booth and a Silent soul movie.

Live music will entertain festival-goers from 20:00.

The St Francis Christmas Festival will take place at the Village Shopping Centre from 17:30 to 22:00 on Monday, December 23.
