THE Friends of Van Stadens will hold their annual fundraising Wild Flower Wander and Open Day at the Van Stadens Wild Flower Reserve from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturday, October 13.
The adrenaline-packed day will kick off with a fun 9km trail run at 08:00, followed by a 4km trail run or walk at 08:15.
The entry fee for the 9km fun run is R50 per person, while the entry fee for the family 4km run is R40 per person.
Mountain bike enthusiasts can look forward to a fun-filled mountain bike event at 10:00 at a cost of R30 per competitor.
There will be an indigenous plant sale – proteas, perennials, trees and bulbs – on the day.
There will also be various stalls with refreshments and goodies for sale.
Bring a picnic basket and enjoy a day out in nature.
All funds raised will be used to do work in the Van Stadens Wild Flower Reserve.
