KOUGA locals and visitors are invited to showcase their special skills on stage at the first Mayoral Talent Search this December.
The Mayoral Talent Search will take place at the Dolphin Beach Amphitheatre in Jeffreys Bay on Saturday, December 15, in celebration of the official Opening of the Season.
“We have some incredible talent in our communities and would like to showcase this for everyone to see, whether your talent is singing, dancing, rapping, comedy, drama, acrobatics, magic tricks or sport,” Kouga Mayor Horatio Hendricks said.
Registration will take place from 13:00 at the amphitheatre, with the competition taking place from 14:00 to 17:00.
There will be no cost to enter the competition, so that everyone has the opportunity to participate.
The winner will walk away with R1 000 in cash and an invitation to perform at the official switching on of the festive lights later that day.
“No matter how old or young you are, if you have the ability to entertain a crowd, we want you to be part of the talent search.
“Come and join in the fun and help us open Kouga’s 2018/2019 Festive Season on a high note,” Mayor Hendricks said.
All acts will be given four minutes to showcase special talent.
The talent search is being arranged by local performer Rochey “Stone” Walters. For more information whatsapp 064 258 1871.
