DESPITE the fact that all EP Media staff members are still working from home, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they still united as a team to help those in need in honour of Mandela Day.
Kouga Express staff members collected 35 empty coffee jars which they filled with dry ingredients to provide a meal of soup for four. The ingredients were ½ cup of rice, ½ cup of soup mix, ½ cup lentils, 1 unwrapped stock cube and 1 packet of soup powder.
The recipients only had to boil the ingredients in 2½ litres of water.
The bottles were handed over to the Ladies Lighthouse in Jeffreys Bay, who will donate them to worthy recipients.
