Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay is set to hold a fun-filled and educational Heritage Expo from Thursday, September 24, to Sunday, September 27.
Expo-goers can look forward to a classic car display presented by the JBay Classic Car Club, in conjunction with Garden Boutique. View these golden oldies at the Cape Union court.
Learn more about the abundant adventures Kouga has to offer at the Kouga Tourism stall at the Pick n Pay court.
Gamtoos Tourism, Jeffreys Bay Tourism and St Francis Tourism will be in attendance.
Various aspiring artists and businesses will display their work over the weekend, while Les Brent from the Eastern Cape Floral Art Association (ECFAA) will create a free-standing heritage flower arrangement on the corner between Funky Frogs and Home Etc.
Flowers to be used are sponsored by Regyne Protea Farm.
Children will furthermore have the opportunity to “milk” Blommetjie the cow – an interactive illustration supplied by the Humansdorp Museum who relies on public donations. Some Woodlands Dairy products will be up for grabs for young “dairy farmers” over the weekend.
Oasis FM will also be in attendance.
Fountains Mall Marketing Manager, Nadine Scheepers, says, “The mall urges residents to offer pensioners the chance to visit the expo between 09:00 and 10:00.”
