Smhart Security, together with Edge Fitness, will host a fun day on Saturday, October 30, at Main Beach in Jeffreys Bay, to raise funds for the Joshua Project, a local safe haven for children in the area.

According to Amy de Villiers, from the marketing department at Smhart Security, in the last few months they have been working closely with the Joshua Project and have seen the exceptional work the organisation does for children in need in Jeffreys Bay.

“We have seen how the Joshua Project has uplifted, encouraged, cared for and nourished the children who are mostly overlooked by many,” said de Villiers.

She said at their facilities, the NPO provided children with food, education, a shower, and clean clothes.

To raise funds for the Joshua Project, De Villiers said Smhart Security, together with Edge Fitness, will host a fun day at Main Beach, between the Dolphin Statue and the court from 09:00.

She said wonderful prizes would be up for grabs with great action during an entertaining volleyball game.

There will also be a self-defence demonstration.

In addition, boerewors rolls will be on sale with all proceeds generated on the day being donated to the Joshua Project.
