DO you own an operational donkey cart with donkeys?

Then head to the open field in Netlercamp Street, Hankey at 10:00 on Thursday, August 8.

Local resident Ailsa Raede-Sherwin, in conjunction with Eastern Cape Horse Care Unit in Port Elizabeth, will once again deworm donkeys on the day and provide owners with a free harness for their animals at no cost.

The project kicked-off in July this year, seeing eight donkeys treated.

All interested parties must arrive with their donkeys and cart.

According to Raede-Sherwin, the aim of the day is to help keep residents’ donkeys in good health and not to confiscate any animals.
