After a very successful Christmas project last year, the Kouga Express is once again appealing to residents to help warm the hearts of less fortunate children in the community. A doll, a train, a tractor, a ball, a tea set and even shoes and a school bag are all some of the simple items that could warm the hearts of children that have never received a colourful wrapped Christmas gift of their own. This year, the Kouga Express, in conjunction with Fountains Mall and Pick n Pay Jeffreys Bay, will collect close to 200 presents for the learners of Sandwater Primary School in Umzamowethu, Oyster Bay. Grade 1-learners Aluthando Keyi, Sibulele Mnqandi, Iminathi Bonani and Cheron Ruiters are ready to send their Christmas wishes to Father Christmas in the North Pole. See page 8 for more information.
