Heritage Expo in JBay this weekend

UP to 30 exhibitions will give local residents a chance to learn more about Kouga when the Heritage Expo hits Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay from Friday, September 24 to Sunday, September 26.


UP to 30 exhibitions will give local residents a chance to learn more about Kouga when the Heritage Expo hits Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay from Friday, September 24 to Sunday, September 26.

Learn more about the adventures that Kouga has to offer at the exhibition stands of Co-Op – Tourism Route, Ntabeni Unique Tours and Kouga Tourism.

Jeffreys Bay Tourism will also be celebrating Heritage and Tourism Month by hosting the Tourism Town exploration.

Interested parties can register and get the first clue at the Tourism stand at 10:00 on September 24. The stand will be located between Mr Price Home and Home Etc.

Various cultural dances will take place on Saturday, September 25.

The first show will take place at 10:00, followed by another at 14:00.

The dancers will be located outside at “Die Werf”, left of the Pick n Pay entrance.

The Eastern Cape Flower Art Association will create a free-standing flower arrangement with flowers sponsored by Regyne Protea Farm, and Oasis FM will be in attendance throughout the expo to keep mall goers informed.

Various entrepreneurs will be selling crochet, biltong, cookware, perfume, driftwood gifts, planters, succulents and children’s toys.

The Kouga Art Society will also host an art exhibition inside the Old Cinema during the course of the expo.

Mall goers can explore more than 20 exhibitors inside the Old Cinema (Shop G23), where paintings, sculptures, ceramics, glasswork, iron and woodwork, and much more will be on display.

Car enthusiasts also have something to look forward to, as the Jeffreys Bay Classic Car Club will have vehicles on display throughout the mall for viewing pleasure.
