THE famous Christmas house in Annaboom Street in Wavecrest, Jeffreys Bay, is once again delighting the public with their incredible Christmas lights display.
Irma Morris from JBay Animal Rescue said, on behalf of the good folks of Jeffreys Bay, she would like to thank Clive and Elmarie Husband for hosting a wonderful light display at their house.
She said unfortunately, this will be the last year they will be showcasing their Christmas house lights.
“We sincerely hope there is someone else out there who will take over,” said Irma.
She said due to COVID-19 restrictions, the gate will not be opened and there will be no Father Christmas this year.
Viewing will be from the road and surrounding pavements and visitors are asked to wear their face masks.
With money raised through their annual Christmas house lights, Clive and Elmarie donate the funds to the JBay Animal Rescue.
They have therefore requested that visitors continue supporting JBay Animal Rescue, despite the Christmas house light show ending.
“We use this money every year to sterilise and medicate the hundreds of animals in the surrounding townships of Jeffreys Bay,” said Irma.
She further said all donations were welcomed, not only cash, but blankets, cushions, kennels, and bowls to name a few.
Anyone interested in taking over the Christmas house initiative can speak to Clive Husband at his home in Annaboom Street.
