SAFE haven, 7th Heaven in Koraal Street, Jeffreys Bay, is set to host a fundraising golf day at the Jeffreys Bay Golf Club on Saturday, April 6.
The format will be that of IPS.
Founded and run by Nelly Senong, this safe haven cares for children taken into alternative care by the Department of Social Services due to severe neglect and/or abuse.
Care is holistic, and volunteers help with extra education needs, life skills training, extra curricular activities.
The children receive educational training, skills development, medical assistance and spiritual development.
The entry fee is R160 per player.
