KOUGA Ford unveiled their new state-of-the-art premises and exciting range of new vehicles at a spectacular bash in Humansdorp on Wednesday, June 12.
Guests from all over the Kouga region – as well as Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town – were entertained with a rare telling of the behind-the-scenes world of interna-tional rugby by speaker Matthew Proudfoot, a former Scottish rugby player and current Assistant Coach to the Springboks.
A far cry from the dealership eve-ryone came to know and love over the last 34 years, the new premises has been completely redesigned and rebuilt, sparking excitement and boasting brand new offices, boardrooms, guest areas, a show room, as well as brand new workshops.
In fact, it is rumoured that the only “original” piece in the building is the switch of a chips fryer belonging to the Golden Egg restaurant that used to stand in the same place over four decades ago.
View a large range of Ford’s pride and joy – the new Everest, Ranger, Kuga and, the one everybody has been waiting for, the all-new Ford Ranger Raptor.
The Raptor is South Africa’s first ever factory-built, off-road performance truck. It is 100% unique, redesigned from the wheels up with an injection of Ford Performance DNA. It is not just another bakkie, there are no “soon to be improved features” – it is the best Ranger ever.
The Fox 2.5 shocks give drivers a near-perfect balance between rough and smooth. The new Bi-turbo engine is engineered to deliver all the power and torque needed for the biggest job without compromising efficiency, while shifting gears with the brand-new 10 speed automatic transmission for better management and fuel economy.
And, of course, it looks good from every angle.
