FIVE recycling facilities are currently available at municipal waste sites.
According to Kouga Community Services Portfolio Councillor Daniel Benson, the municipality’s official recycler, Extreme Recycling, has set up facilities for this purpose at drop-off zones and landfill sites.
“Recycle bins are in place at the drop-off zones in Jeffreys Bay, St Francis Bay and Oyster Bay, as well as at the landfill sites in Humansdorp and Hankey,” he said.
“A recycling facility is also being placed in Paradise Beach.”
He said Extreme Recycling had also donated recycling bins to schools, especially for paper.
