Kouga 8 Ball Pool is looking forward to seeing at least 10 of their members representing the Eastern Cape at the South Africa 8 Ball Pool Nationals in Belville, Cape Town, from Tuesday, September 12 to Thursday, October 5.
Those who have been selected include André Pretorius (u/18) and Dylan Olivier (u/18) in the junior team, Josh Pienaar has been selected as an u/23 competitor, while Jean Du Rand is the u/23 team manager.
The senior team includes Cedrick Swartbooi and Shaun Swart, while Raymondo Plaatjies, Steve Bovana and Freddie Leander will compete in the open team.
Stefan Davies has been selected as a referee for the u/23 team.
In honour of Women’s Month, Kouga 8 Ball Pool will also host a pool competition on Saturday, August 12, from 14:00 at Jolly Dolphin, Jeffreys Bay.
The first competition will be for women only and entry is free.
The second competition will be for men and to enter they will be required to dress like a woman, or wear something pink.
The prize for both competitions will be R500 for the winner.
