THE last four public meetings about Kouga Municipality’s draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and budget for the upcoming 2019/2020 financial year will take place next week.
Executive Mayor Horatio Hendricks said the meeting for Ward 6 would take place in a tent at the KwaNomzamo Community Hall on May 13, followed by the meeting for Ward 5 at the Kruisfontein Civic Centre on May 14.
The meeting for Ward 14 will be held at the Tokyo Sexwale Sports Stadium in Jeffreys Bay on May 15, while the meeting for Ward 15 will take place in a tent at the Humansdorp Country Club on 16 May.
All meetings will start at 18:00.
Hendricks encouraged all residents from the wards to attend the meetings.
“It is an opportunity for residents to participate in the municipality’s planning processes for the new financial year.
“Important information about water and electricity allocations will also be discussed,” he said.
