HUMANSDORP – Humansdorp police in the Eastern Cape are investigating a stabbing incident that led to the death of a Grade 12 learner from Humansdorp Senior Secondary School this morning, 23 September.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, information in police records indicates that on 23 September at about 08:15, a violent altercation at the school among learners left one learner with stab wounds.
“The 18-year-old victim was declared dead at the scene,” said Nkohli.
“The five suspects are still at large, and their arrest is imminent.”
Nkholi further said that the name of the deceased has not yet been released.
