CONSTRUCTION is well under way at a new luxury development in St Francis Bay – with two villas already been sold of the plan.

Once completed, the upmarket and highest-priced townhouse development in the area, Seaglades, will consist of six tiled-roof villas with each having ample canal frontage.

It will furthermore boast two lounges, four bedrooms (three en suite), kitchen, scullery and double garage, as well as built-in cupboards, high-quality finishes in a choice of colours and aluminium sliding doors. Window and flooring options will allow for individual taste, while there will also be a parking bay, jetty, deck and heated pool.

Vincent Lyons, owner of the development in Seaglades Drive and Lyons Construction, says, “The architectural design is similar to that of the upmarket Water Club Development opposite Quayside.”

According to him, sectional title homes are sought-after as owners do not have to maintain the garden and pool themselves.

“Most affluent people do not mind paying extra levies in order to live in an upmarket estate that is professionally managed by a body corporate and where property values continue to increase,” he says.

“These, combined with security and various lifestyle benefits, are reasons for investing in an estate like Seaglades. The secure, gated community with its superb villas ensures top-class security with 24-hour on-site patrols, surveillance cameras and perimeter walls.

“Each home will furthermore have a passive wireless alarm system with zoned keypads, wireless control panels, a back-up battery and siren. There will also be infra-red beams in the garden and a radio transmitter to a security company or armed response.”
