WOODLANDS Dairy and First Choice, leaders in sustainability, have donated R50 000 worth of desks and chairs to Makukhanye Primary School in Jeffreys Bay.
Made from recycled Tetra Pak cartons, this initiative forms part of their Taste the Truth campaign, reinforcing their commitment to environmental responsibility and community support.
Through Taste the Truth, Woodlands Dairy promotes transparency in dairy farming, educating consumers about responsible farming practices, animal welfare, and sustainability.
By empowering consumers to make informed choices, the campaign underscores the company’s dedication to ethical and sustainable dairy production.
Mandla Charlie, Assistant Brand Manager at Woodlands Dairy and First Choice, highlighted the company’s focus on child welfare.
“We’ve actively supported young learners by donating school shoes, rain jackets, stationery, backpacks, and desks and chairs — ensuring they have the essentials to attend school with confidence. Through these contributions, we reaffirm our commitment to making education more accessible and engaging for all,” he said.
Woodlands Dairy believes that responsible business practices can drive meaningful change.
“By choosing First Choice, consumers not only enjoy high-quality dairy products but also support a legacy of community empowerment, environmental stewardship, and corporate responsibility,” said Charlie.
