THE Milkwood Market in Jeffreys Bay will hold their first Melk Fees on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, in celebration of their second birthday.

Local artists – Jim and Jane, Mello and Jive, Michelle, Kobus and Karla, and the Wandering Watsons – will take to the festival stage, while Paw Patrol and a ‘poppekas’ show will keep the children entertained.

Visitors to the festival can fill their baskets to the brim with delicious food and treats and enjoy a relaxed picnic under the big Yellowwood trees at the dam.

There will also be various arts and craft stalls, as well as fresh vegetables and flowers.

Also on the festival menu is a family bike challenge, a K9 skills challenge and thrill zone with a bungy bounce, a giant wave slide, a mechanical surf board and various inflatables. Apart from adrenaline-packed action, festival-goers can visit the cheese and wine tent where they can enjoy a wide variety of cheese from Tsitsikamma Gourmet Cheese: Boerenkaas, TsitsiJack, PepperJack, cumin, garlic and onion and chilli.

Wine from The Taste Room includes Truter Family wines, Cronier wines and Leenders wines.

Also on the menu is gin infused with baobab maroela fruit and ginger.
