THE Kouga Municipality’s headquarters and the main library in Jeffreys Bay are among the buildings that were closed this week due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 infections.
Executive Mayor, Horatio Hendricks, said the Revenue section at the main municipal office was rescheduled to re-open for account payments and queries today, Thursday, December 3.
“The remainder of the main building, as well as the library, will be closed for the duration of the week and re-open on Monday, December 7.”
He said residents and businesses were encouraged to make use of online payment options, where possible, so as to avoid long queues from forming at municipal paypoints.
Hendricks added that the paypoints at the Humansdorp, St Francis Bay and Hankey offices were unaffected and remained open.
