FIVE top swimmers from Nico Malan High School in Humansdorp excelled at the Top 8 Individual Swimming Gala in Port Elizabeth on Friday, February 28.
Liani Snyman (girls 15 to 16 years) obtained a first place in the 50m butterfly event; as well as the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke.
Swimmer Inge Snyman (girls 13 years) secured a second place in the 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke events. She also obtained a fifth place in the 50m breaststroke event.
Miné Janse van Rensburg (girls 14 years) claimed a third place in the 50m backstroke event, while Liané Nel (girls 13 years) came third in the 50m breaststroke event and fifth in the 50m butterfly event.
Dewray de Vos (boys 17 and older) boasts with a fourth place in the 50m breaststroke event and a sixth place in the 50m freestyle event.
