The Mayoral Talent Search, which took place at the Kouga Easter Festival, saw Jenedine Jantjies, from Patensie, taking the first place after wowing the judges and audience.
Collective Records, who presented the Kouga Easter Festival, in collaboration with the municipality, look forward to recording a song with Jantjies.
Furthermore, noticing her raw talent, the wife of well-known singer Jo Black, Debbie, arranged a special meeting with Jantjies – discussing future possibilities.
Singer Olwethu Katoo, from Hankey, was named the runner-up, followed by dancers, Kaylee Vosloo and Logan Harris, from St Francis Bay.
The dance group, The Unexpected Dance Crew, consisting of Jayron Matsjowaan, Luciano Pieterse and Keanu Pieterse, claimed fourth place, followed by singers Mr Makes and Liena G.
