The municipality is currently busy with a paving project, focusing on the parking area stretching from Kitchen Windows to Supertubes, along Ferreira Steet in Jeffreys Bay.

The work started earlier this week, and the project is anticipated to be complete by December 15. The second phase of the project is scheduled to begin on January 15, 2024, and will involve the paving of the parking area opposite Tampa Bay Spur.

This improvement is part of the municipality’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for all our valued residents and visitors.
Hattingh Bornman

“The decision to pave the frequently-used parking area stems from our dedication to creating a more convenient and aesthetically pleasing space for all. We understand that a well-maintained and properly paved parking area contributes to a positive overall experience.”

Bornman continued that the new parking area will, furthermore, improve accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring that municipal facilities are navigable for all.

“The municipality is committed to minimising any inconvenience during the paving process,” said Bornman. “We will work diligently to ensure that disruption to operations and access to facilities will be kept to a minimum.”
