This charming farm is named after the daughters of the owners, Gítte and Kara, and has grown from a humble pregnancy project into a vibrant hub for flower lovers.
Specialising in dahlias, G&K Bouquets offers visitors a truly unique experience, the chance to wander through fields of flowers and handpick their own bouquets alongside their friends for R300.
During dahlia season, from 15 December to 17 January, guests are invited to stroll through the fields, select their favourite blooms, and craft a bouquet to take home.
Each ticket grants a bucket and 30 freshly picked dahlia stems, along with all the essentials like secateurs, bouquet wrap, and a bucket to carry the flowers.
Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle, and enjoy the serene, hands-on experience in the heart of nature.
Booking is essential, and daily visits are limited to 30–35 people, ensuring that everyone has the space and time to enjoy the magic of the fields.
For those who soon want the G&K Bouquets experience to continue at home, the farm will also offer a curated collection of over 20 dahlia tuber varieties in 2026.
Currently being grown with care on the farm, these tubers are perfect for planting in your own garden, bringing vibrant colours and the joy of growing your own flowers.
