PETROL heads and adrenaline junkies can look forward to heart-racing action this weekend.
Some 35 teams – local and regional – are set to rev it up in Loerie on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, when the six and seventh round of the Algoa Rally Club Championship (Heinesport Night and Day Rally) take to the tracks.
The action-packed event will see rally-drivers leave the starting blocks at the Ferry Hotel at 19:45, from where they will head to the Longmore Forest for some night action.
It is expected that the first participant will be back at the hotel at 01:00 on the Sunday morning.
The rally will restart at 11:00 on the Saturday – repeating the stages completed on the Friday. The fastest driver is set to cross the finish line at 17:00.
LuisterFM will entertain spectators from 18:00 to 21:00 on Saturday, November 29.
