RETINA South Africa Port Elizabeth office will host a workshop at 14B Pickering Street in Newton Park in Port Elizabeth at 11:30 on Tuesday, February 25.
The workshop, themed Special needs solutions for the visually impaired, aims at highlighting and demonstrating how becoming smart savvy with a mobile phone or ta-blet, can enhance visual functio-nality.
Presenters Allister Marran and Steven Lancaster will give an overview of the special needs applications available on various smart phones, followed by a demonstration on the use of the applications.
All affected by age-related ma-cular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy or any other visual impairment, are welcome to attend.
