THE Warrants of Arrest section of the Kouga Traffic Department would like to encourage all persons with outstanding fines to pay these or risk going to jail.
Kouga Community Services Portfolio Councillor, Daniel Benson, said roadblocks would be held throughout the region over the next few weeks to ensure motorists abide by the law in the interest of everyone’s safety.
“We will also be checking if motorists have outstanding fines. They will be able to pay these at the roadblock and a receipt will be issued as confirmation,” he said.
Enquiries can be directed to Traffic Officer Jan Fontein from the Warrants of Arrest section at 081 314 5983 or 071 568 0101.
