PAYMENT of social grants for the month of March will begin on February 28, since March 1 falls on a weekend.
This is according to the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).
All social grants beneficiaries using the new Gold SASSA card and their commercial private bank accounts can access their social grants at all South African Post Office (SAPO) outlets, merchants/supermarkets, banks and ATMs from Friday, February 28.
Payments at SASSA cash pay points will start across the province on March 3.
All SASSA beneficiaries are assured that their monthly social grant will be paid to them.
