The newly upgraded Grab-and-Go section at Caltex Wavelands in St Francis Street, Jeffreys Bay, now boasts healthy food merged with good eating – combining the convenience of fast food with the nutritional aspects of meal preparation and the gourmet flavours of a personal chef.
According to owner, Vincent Tee, one of the first steps to revamp the Grab-and-Go section, was to hire a “dynamic chef”, Janet Bekker.
“We set about working on a menu with dishes that would be healthy – and all of them delicious,” says Vincent.
“Each ready-to-eat item adheres to a simple, healthy promise: to bridge the gap between convenience and healthy eating. In today’s world, you should not have to compromise healthy eating habits due to a busy schedule.”
The healthy, hearty, delicious and affordable ready-made meals, which are easy to grab for lunch, include mouth-watering sandwiches, wraps, salads and chicken.
