TRELLIDOR Jeffreys Bay may be a small, local business but it is showing the way to success on a national level.
The security barrier franchise is owned by Morné and Taryn Schutz, who have built up a consistently excellent team that wins national Trellidor performance awards year after year. They recently came tops in their franchise category, one of the toughest in the Trellidor Group.
“They beat stiff competition from other Trellidor franchises around South Africa, with higher sales fi-gures in terms of units sold. This incredible J’Bay team punch way above their weight considering we have over 70 Trellidor franchises countrywide,” said Kevin Bonner, Trellidor RSA Sales and Marketing Manager.
Part of the reason for the team’s success is that Morné really enjoys what he does. He gets great satisfaction out of finding security solutions for people and their homes or businesses. He strongly believes in the Trellidor brand and that the company offers the best range of designs on the market in terms of strength and appearance.
“He loves to feel that he is playing a small role in making it possible for people to feel safe. He also enjoys the design side of the business, interacting with our clients to find the right products for their needs and to enhance their lifestyle,” said Taryn.

Taryn adds that they have had a fantastic response to the newer Trellidor products. These include Clear Guard security screens and Security Shutter aluminium louvres, both of which offer a high level of uncluttered, attractive security.
Success isn’t only about products, though. It’s also about people. Taryn noted that although they have grown in number over the years, they are still a small family and experienced, committed team.
“Our staff share the same pride in their work as Morné and show it in their skilled workmanship and service. Some have been with us from the start and others from before our time. Each one is special and brings their own piece to the puzzle of a more than satisfactory all round experience.

Kevin congratulated the team for their string of 2019 awards which include top franchise in their category, highest sales of Trellidor Security Shutter, second highest sales of Trellidor Cottage Guard burglar bars and top franchise owner sales consultant of the year.
