Upmarket hotel planned for St Francis

ST Francis Bay is set to boast a multi-million Rand luxury hotel in the near future – a first for the region.

Developed by the Mantis Collection, the R60 million hotel to be built at the St Francis Links Golf Estate, will consist of 60 rooms made up of one- and two-bedroom units.

Each unit will be fully furnished and fitted by the Mantis interior design team.

“The hotel unit will then be included in a rental pool fully operated, managed and marketed by the Mantis Group, forming the St Francis Links Hotel by Mantis,” says Mantis Group Development and Marketing Support Samantha Nel.

“This Mantis initiative is a replica of our successful Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis where Phase One consisted of a 40-room hotel in the Pearl Valley Golf Estate outside Paarl. “Like St Francis Links, Pearl Valley Golf Course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design.

“Based on the success of the first phase of Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis, we recently launched Phase Two consisting of a further 40 hotel rooms which will now grow the hotel offering to 80 rooms.”
