ENJOY a relaxed morning in the beautiful St Francis Bay while filling your shopping basket with fresh, home-made, home-grown and handmade produce.
Visitors to the up-market St Francis Market, that boasts quality products from 90 stalls holders – locally, as well as from Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Cape Town and Johannesburg – can look forward to dried fruit, biltong, frozen meals, eats, treats, handmade clothing, jewellery and decor.
There are also fresh organic vegetables, mouth-watering biscuits, free range meat, pancakes, flowers, leather handbags, jam and designer clothing for women and men.
Community upliftment projects at the market include bead work, wooden toys, the Sea Vista Talhado band, the Humansdorp SPCA, the St Francis Kromme Trust and young entrepreneurs.
Forgot your shopping bag? No need to worry. Purchase one or two – or more – of the eco-friendly shopping bags on sale at the market.
The market offers free Wi-Fi to all stall holders and visitors, and is family- and pet-friendly.
Organised by St Francis Tourism, the market will take place at the Village Square from 09:00 to 13:00 on December 15, December 22, December 29 and January 5 next year.
All funds raised at the market are ploughed back into the market. Entry is free.
