The annual Woodlands Dairy Golf Day was an enormous success, with R400 000 raised in aid of St Francis Hospice. Held at St Francis Links recently, the event attracted players from all over, including former Springbok rugby player, Naas Botha, and former South African international cricketers, Patrick Symcox and David Richardson, as celebrity golfers.

“The Woodlands Dairy Golf Day combines fundraising with networking opportunities, fun, entertainment, and enticing prizes, fostering a positive and engaging environment for participants,” says Mandla Charlie of Woodlands Dairy and First Choice.

“We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved, from sponsors to players and staff, for their incredible support in making a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families during challenging times. We also appreciate our loyal Shop First Choice customers for contributing to this worthy cause. The players showcased amazing resilience, even in adverse weather conditions. We applaud you for making this day a very memorable one. Next, we aim at surpassing expectations and elevating the event even further!”

At the cheque presentation, Woodlands Dairy conveyed their deep admiration for St Francis Hospice and its dedicated team, recognising their outstanding care offered to patients confronting life-limiting situations.
