In celebration of World Oceans Day in June this year, Woodlands Dairy proudly reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship by expanding its annual beach clean-up initiative.

Building on the success of the annual Jeffreys Bay event, this year’s campaign achieved even greater impact as regional teams across the country joined the movement in the days leading up to the official date.

From East London to Cape Town, their coastal sales regions hosted clean-up events.

These collective efforts not only helped clean and protect shorelines but also deepened awareness around the importance of ocean conservation and Woodlands Dairy’s shared responsibility to safeguard marine environments.

Mandla Charlie, Brand Manager Assistant at Woodlands Dairy, said, “As a dairy rooted in sustainability, we believe in doing our part; not just through our products, but also through action.”

“This initiative reflects our ongoing promise to protect the environment we all depend on. Let’s carry this momentum forward – not just on World Oceans Day, but also every day. Together, we can make a meaningful and lasting difference for cleaner, healthier oceans.”
